This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled or aspiring Submersible Pump Engineer to develop a rewarding career within a specialist engineering business that provides industry-leading support, training, and progression opportunities. Through structured development and ongoing training, the successful Submersible Pump Engineer will have the opportunity to progress into a fully autonomous Service Engineer role. The Role As a Submersible Pump Engineer, you will work on groundwater, surface water, and foul water pumping systems across residential and commercial properties throughout Cambridge, Essex, Hertfordshire, and the South East. The Submersible Pump Engineer will be responsible for: * Servicing, maintaining, and repairing submersible pump systems. * Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective troubleshooting. * Attending customer sites independently or as part of a small engineering team. * Delivering exceptional customer service and technical support. * Working closely with office-based support colleagues. * Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety standards. * Maintaining a professional image that reflects the values of the business. About You To be successful in this Submersible Pump Engineer role, you will: * Be aged 18 or over. * Hold a full, clean UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months. * Be enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn. * Have strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. * Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. * Be willing to travel across Cambridge, Essex, Hertfordshire, and the South East. Previous experience as a Submersible Pump Engineer, Pump Engineer, Service Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or within a related field service environment would be advantageous, although full training is available for the right candidate.
