Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for your next opportunity? A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join an established business that continues to grow.

This role requires a highly capable and technically sound Accounts Payable individual who can take ownership of the end to end Accounts Payable process. You will be an organised and pro-active individual who is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of purchase invoices and supplier payments.

The successful candidate will enjoy this area of finance and recognise where processes can be improved to ensure an efficient Accounts Payable function.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Accurate coding and matching invoices to purchase orders
• Processing supplier invoices and expenses
• Liaising with suppliers and internal parties to resolve queries
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Ensuring that invoices are authorised for payment
• Processing payment runs
• Month end close including accruals and AP reconciliations
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and controls
