Residential Property Solicitor

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional to join an established property team in Bishop's Stortford.

The role offers responsibility for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, with the support of experienced colleagues and the opportunity to develop your expertise within a collaborative team.

The role

• Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Advise clients on sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Handle the associated legal work, including title investigations, searches, enquiries and exchange of contracts.
• Maintain regular contact with clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties to ensure transactions progress efficiently.
• Identify and address issues arising throughout the conveyancing process.

What we're looking for

• A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional with at least 3 years' relevant experience.
• Confidence managing a residential property caseload independently.
• Strong technical knowledge and an organised approach to transaction management.
• The ability to communicate clearly with clients and build effective working relationships.
