Mechanical Fitter, East Kilbride, £42,000–£45,000, Temp to Perm Benefits * £42,000–£45,000 annual salary or £24.94–£28.06 per hour via CIS or umbrella. * Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, 40 hours per week. * Overtime: time and a half weekdays and Saturday mornings; double time Saturday afternoons and Sundays. * Paid travel time at 1.5x after the first 30 minutes each way. * Overnight accommodation, meal allowances and £30 per night away. * Company vehicle, pension, private healthcare, death-in-service cover, 25 days' holiday plus 9 statutory holidays, and training opportunities. Responsibilities * Install and assemble pumps, screens, rotating equipment, pipework, valves and ancillary equipment. * Work across Scottish Water sites and sectors including agriculture, oil and gas, marine, biogas, brewing and distilling, water and power, leisure, and food processing. * Interpret technical instructions and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. * Travel to sites across Scotland and work overtime when required. * Maintain high standards of workmanship, organisation and communication. Requirements * Experience assembling pipework, including PVC, ABS, ductile iron, galvanised and stainless steel. * Experience installing centrifugal, multistage and progressive cavity pumps. * Valid CSCS card and full driving licence. * Strong time management, communication and organisational skills. * DOMS and confined space qualifications are advantageous but not essential
