Job Description: Warehouse Operative Location: South Normanton, Derbyshire Job Title: Warehouse Operative Working Pattern: 5 days per week, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday About the Role We are looking for reliable, hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our team in South Normanton. The successful candidates will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently to meet operational demands. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team, can work in a fast-paced environment and is flexible with working hours. Key Responsibilities * Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently. * Loading and unloading goods where required. * Moving, sorting and organising stock within the warehouse. * Preparing orders for dispatch. * Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment. * Following all health and safety procedures. * Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets. * Carrying out other general warehouse duties as required. Working Hours * Working days: 5 days per week, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday. * Days off: 2 days off during the week, scheduled according to operational requirements. * Start times: Between 7:00 am and 11:00 am. * Shift duration: Approximately 8–10 hours per shift, depending on workload and warehouse volume. Please note: Flexibility is essential, as start times and shift lengths may vary depending on operational requirements. Requirements * A reliable and punctual approach to work. * Good attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Willingness to undertake physical, hands-on warehouse duties. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Flexibility to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. * A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
