Finance Systems Specialist

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Systems Specialist to join an established, growing financial services organisation.

You'll play a key role in improving finance systems, processes and controls, supporting transformation projects and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and automation.

Working with Finance, Technology and wider business teams, you'll help deliver system enhancements and process improvements, with the opportunity to influence change and make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop and improve financial systems, processes and controls.
• Support the delivery of finance systems enhancements, transformation projects and business change initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency and introduce automation.
• Work with Finance, IT and wider business teams to understand requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Support the accuracy, integrity and reliability of financial data, reporting and reconciliations.
• Review existing processes and controls, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and risk reduction.

About You

• Previous experience in a finance systems, finance transformation or finance process improvement role.
• A good understanding of financial processes, controls and data management.
• Experience supporting system enhancements, business change or improvement projects.
• Comfortable working with both finance and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
