The Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable function while supporting wider finance and office administration activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Managing weekly BACS payment runs
• Maintaining the cash book and posting supplier payments
• Liaising with suppliers regarding queries and payments
• Completing month-end reconciliations
• Managing petty cash
• Ordering stationery and office supplies
• Processing incoming and outgoing post
• Providing general administrative support to the finance function

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience within an Accounts Payable or Finance Assistant position
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Experience managing multiple priorities effectively
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Experience using Sage 200 would be advantageous
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
