A well-established and highly regarded law firm based in North London is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy Conveyancing department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary with experience in residential conveyancing and some exposure to commercial property matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing full secretarial support to the Partner within the Conveyancing department
• Preparing legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and carrying out typing/audio typing via digital dictation
• Preparing initial contract packs, completion statements, and supporting documentation
• Opening files and conducting AML checks and compliance procedures
• Assisting with Land Registry applications, registrations, and submission of SDLT returns
• Assisting with post-completion matters

Key Skills:

• Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within a conveyancing environment is essential.
• Knowledge of both residential conveyancing procedures
• Experience with digital dictation is essential
• Strong organisational and communication abilities
