The Role… Learning Disability School Support Staff

This is a rewarding and varied opportunity within specialist school settings in Gainsborough, supporting pupils with learning disabilities and additional needs throughout their school day.

As Learning Disability School Support Staff in Gainsborough, you'll work alongside teachers and other support professionals to help pupils access learning, develop communication skills, and become more independent. You'll provide both classroom and pastoral support, encouraging pupils to participate, build confidence, and work towards their individual goals.

Depending on the needs of the pupils, you may also provide support with mobility, and everyday routines, always promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
