Associate Structural Engineer London £ DOE plus benefits Our client is an established and expanding practice who are looking to strengthen their London team by bringing in an Associate Structural Engineer. This is an excellent role for a technically accomplished and commercially minded engineer looking to take on a senior position with a blend of project leadership, team management, client liaison and business development. The successful candidate will lead structural engineering projects from initial design through to completion, oversee workloads and provide technical support and guidance to engineers and technicians. The role will also involve attending client meetings, design reviews and site visits, while building strong working relationships with clients, architects, contractors and other project stakeholders. Alongside project delivery, the successful candidate will play an important part in developing the business, identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships and preparing fee proposals to support continued growth. Additional responsibilities will include reviewing calculations, drawings and reports to maintain high technical standards, as well as contributing to the recruitment, development and management of staff across UK and international teams. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered or near-Chartered Structural Engineer with excellent technical knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ambition to take on greater commercial and managerial responsibility.
