Warehouse Operative

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Park Royal, London
Salary: National Minimum Wage, with overtime available

We are urgently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy food production environment in Park Royal. This is a full-time, permanent role with an immediate start available. The Warehouse Operative will support packaging operations, inspect product quality, and help the team through a particularly busy period until the end of the year. This opportunity would suit a dependable Warehouse Operative who can work long shifts and perform well in a fast-paced setting.

Day-to-day of the role

• Operate packaging machinery safely and efficiently
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Pack and handle food products in line with site procedures
• Monitor the production line and report faults or issues promptly
• Keep the working area clean, tidy, and hygienic
• Follow health and safety and food safety procedures at all times
• Support general warehouse and production duties as required
• Work 6am to 6pm
• Contribute during a demanding peak period through to the end of the year

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, production, or food manufacturing experience would be beneficial
• Experience operating machinery would be an advantage
• Good attention to detail when checking product quality
• Able to work long hours and remain focused in a busy environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a role with increased demands during peak periods
