Production Operative – Bagging Avonmouth, Bristol £14.00 per hour (temporary) | £32,000 per year once permanent 4 days on / 4 days off | 05:30–18:00 Immediate start | Temp to Perm Own transport essential A&G Resourcing are looking for a hands-on Production Operative to join a busy production team at a site in Avonmouth. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in production, manufacturing or a similar industrial environment who is looking for a long-term role, with the potential to secure a permanent position. Overtime opportunities may also be available. The Role Working as part of the production team, your responsibilities will include: * Operating and monitoring bagging and production machinery. * Moving and preparing materials for production. * Monitoring equipment and reporting any faults or issues. * Carrying out basic problem-solving where trained to do so. * Working closely with production and maintenance teams. * Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment. * Completing production records and shift handovers. * Following health and safety procedures at all times. * Supporting the team to meet production and quality targets. * Operating a forklift, if trained and authorised. About You We're looking for someone who: * Has previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing or a similar hands-on role. * Is comfortable working around machinery and industrial equipment. * Has good attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving. * Can follow instructions and work well as part of a team. * Is reliable, flexible and happy working a 4-on/4-off shift pattern. * Is willing to learn and undertake any necessary training. * Has their own transport, which is essential due to the location and shift times. FLT experience or a valid forklift licence would be an advantage, but is not essential.
