A freight forwarding business in Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Ocean Import Coordinator to manage shipments from origin through to final delivery. The Package Salary up to £40,000, depending on experience Monday to Friday, with working hours of 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm Flexible working 28 days' holiday Full-time, permanent positionThe Role Manage ocean import shipments from booking through to final delivery Liaise with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers and customers Arrange collections and deliveries, monitoring shipment progress Prepare and check shipping documentation Coordinate customs clearance and ensure accurate information is provided Prepare quotations, monitor shipment costs and complete invoicing Resolve delays and keep customers informed throughout Build strong relationships with customers and suppliersWhat You'll Need Ocean import experience within freight forwarding A good understanding of import procedures and shipping documentation Experience coordinating customs clearance and UK deliveries Strong communication and customer service skills An organised approach and the ability to manage multiple shipmentsApply now or contact Jack at for a confidential discussion.
