A varied workload in a well regarded village practice. A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Tarporley is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified Business Services Senior.

You’d take on accounts assignments across a mixed portfolio, growing your technical ability and client confidence in an experienced, supportive team. Tarporley is an attractive Cheshire village with a loyal local business community, and the firm’s clients reflect the character and variety of the area. What’s the day to day of the role:

• Preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Supporting managers and partners on the more complex and technical assignments
• Fielding client queries as a dependable point of contact
• Lending a hand with personal and corporate tax returns when needed
• Mentoring junior members of the team as they develop

Required skills and qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified, with solid accounts preparation behind you
• At least three years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
• Experience preparing accounts for a range of client types to a high standard
• Comfortable with accountancy software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
• Professional with clients, well organised, and keen to progress in practice
