Conveyancing Paralegal - Cambridge

Working alongside a partner within the firm, who is extremely well respected in residential property circles in Cambridge, you will play an important role in supporting a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.

Any applicants will be expected to be able to show experience within residential conveyancing as a paralegal, conveyancing assistant or legal secretary.

Duties in this role may include things such as:-

• Assisting with the day to day management of residential property transactions
• Preparing and reviewing conveyancing documentation
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
• Undertaking property and title related searches and enquiries
• Assisting with exchange and completion processes
• Maintaining accurate and up to date case records
• Providing a high standard of client care throughout the conveyancing process
• Supporting fee earners with their caseloads and taking on increasing responsibility as your experience develops

This role will offer superb progression prospects and ongoing training and over time it is envisaged you will take on and develop your own caseload as the department continues to grow. Therefore the firm wants someone who is eager and ambitious to progress and continue their development in residential conveyancing

This firm promote from within in terms of their training contracts and SQE and so that is a likely route for those looking to qualify as a Solicitor, or alternatively the firm will offer support towards CILEX or CLC qualifications. The firm can point to numerous paralegals and qualified lawyers who began their careers at the firm as trainees and have advanced their careers and become qualified lawyers
