Senior Accounts Technician – Huntingdon Clark Wood are recruiting for a Senior Accounts Technician to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Huntingdon. The role would suit an AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or experienced practice accountant looking to progress their career. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of SMEs, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, covering accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and client support. The Role
Preparing year-end accounts
Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
Bookkeeping and cloud accounting
Dealing with client queries
Reviewing junior team members' work
Assisting with management accounts and forecasting
Supporting Managers and Partners with client work
Managing your own portfolio and deadlines
About You
AAT Level 4, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or QBE
Previous UK accountancy practice experience
Strong accounts, VAT and bookkeeping knowledge
Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
Good client communication skills
Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
