An established manufacturing business with a national footprint is looking to appoint a Site Accountant at a key production facility. This is a highly visible role, offering the chance to influence operational performance, support growth initiatives and work closely with senior management in a fast-paced environment.

Description

• Partner with operational leadership to drive site performance and profitability.
• Analyse labour, yield and production costs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Review product and customer profitability, providing commercial insight and challenge.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial decision-making across the site.
• Own site balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and financial controls.
• Translate financial information into meaningful insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and support growth initiatives.
• Act as the key finance representative on-site, working closely with both operations and central finance teams.

Profile

• Strong communicator with the confidence to build relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders.
• Commercially minded and keen to partner with operational teams to drive performance.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of site finances.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Curious, proactive and eager to understand the wider business.
• Manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential; attitude and business partnering skills are more important.
• Qualified, or qualified by experience candidates will be considered, depending on experience and fit.
