Location: London
Salary: £75,000-£90,000 DOE + Travel Paid
Start: Early December
I'm working with an established electrical contractor looking to appoint an experienced, electrically biased Project Manager to join their growing London delivery team.
The business works alongside leading Tier 1 main contractors, delivering substantial electrical packages typically valued between £5m-£10m across commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. They're looking for a technically strong Electrical PM who can take full ownership of projects, manage client relationships and drive delivery from initial design coordination and procurement through to commissioning and handover.
The Role:
Manage electrical packages valued between £5m-£10m on major commercial projects.
Take responsibility for project delivery, including design coordination, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.
Manage Electrical Construction Managers, site teams and specialist subcontractors.
Oversee project programmes, labour resources, procurement schedules and key milestones.
Work closely with the commercial team on budgets, variations, cost control and profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 main contractors, consultants and clients.
Manage technical submissions, design changes, quality assurance and project handover.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget. What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as an electrically biased Project Manager within an electrical or M&E contractor.
Strong electrical technical background, ideally having progressed through electrical engineering or site delivery.
Experience managing electrical packages valued circa £5m-£10m.
Tier 1 main contractor experience within commercial fit-out essential.
Strong understanding of LV distribution, lighting, power, containment, fire alarms and associated electrical services.
Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets, variations, procurement and subcontractors.
Confident communicating with clients and managing demanding project programmes.
Professional, reliable and looking to establish themselves with a business long-term. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work and substantial projects to take ownership of.
