The Role - Year 4 Primary Teacher

As the Primary Teacher, you will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering the curriculum and ensuring pupils remain engaged and make progress throughout the placement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum.
• Teaching English, Maths and foundation subjects in line with the National Curriculum.
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations.
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet different learning needs.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.
• Supporting pupils' academic progress, confidence and personal development.

What We're Looking For

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who can confidently lead a Year 4 classroom and maintain a consistent standard of teaching.

The ideal Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Confidence teaching KS2, ideally Year 4.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A good understanding of the National Curriculum.
• The ability to plan engaging lessons and assess pupil progress.
• A proactive, reliable and professional approach.
