About the Role

WorkWell Norfolk is a new countywide service launching in November 2026, helping people with health conditions stay in work, return after sickness absence or move towards suitable employment. It is delivered by a partnership of local organisations led by Future Projects.

As a Team Lead, you will lead WorkWell delivery in your locality, supporting and supervising Health and Work Coaches to deliver a safe, high-quality service while keeping a smaller caseload of your own. This is a non-clinical role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support and supervise Health and Work Coaches, promoting consistent, person-centred practice.
  • Oversee referral allocation, caseloads and capacity across the team.
  • Maintain a smaller caseload of around 8–12 participants (full time).
  • Monitor case quality and outcomes, and use WorkWell data to prepare accurate locality reports.
  • Act as first point of support for safeguarding and participant risk, escalating through agreed pathways.
  • Build local relationships with GP practices, social prescribing, VCFSE organisations, Jobcentre Plus and employers.

About You

  • Experience supporting people one-to-one in a coaching, advice or support role.
  • Experience leading or supervising staff, and managing caseloads, priorities and risk.
  • Organised, fair and calm under pressure, with sound judgement.
  • Confident using data to understand performance and write clear reports.
  • Working knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality and inclusive practice.
  • No formal qualification required, but you will need to show the experience to lead the role.
