The school supports young people aged 6 to 25 years, all of whom share an incredible enthusiasm for music. Whether it's singing, drumming, guitar, percussion or exploring a variety of other instruments, music plays a vital role in their education and personal development. The Role

• Deliver engaging and creative music sessions to students with a variety of additional needs.
• Encourage participation, confidence and self-expression through music.
• Support students of varying ages and abilities to develop their musical interests and talents.
• Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping every young person succeed.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has recent experience teaching or leading music activities in some capacity.
• Plays one or more instruments and is confident sharing their musical knowledge.
• Possesses excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Has a patient, adaptable and compassionate approach.
• SEND experience is desirable but not essential.
• Qualified Teacher Status is not required.
