IT Support- 1st and 2nd Line

A thriving school based in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a hands-on IT Support professional to join its team. The school is part of a respected group of schools and is growing into an all-through school to 16- this is an exciting time to join.

In this role you'll provide 1st and 2nd line support across computing, AV, servers and network infrastructure. You'll manage tickets and security incidents within SLAs, keep systems patched and secure, look after telephony and the asset register, and find ways to automate repetitive tasks. You'll work closely with teaching staff, operations teams and pupils, and alongside the Data and Project Team on new rollouts.

Experience required-

• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Intune/MDM, Azure AD, and Windows and virtual servers is essential.
• Solid networking, switching and telephony knowledge.
• Experience with Google Workspace, imaging and system deployment.
• PowerShell scripting and ITIL v3 Foundation knowledge.
• A patient, service-first attitude and great communication skills.

Experience within an education setting is desirable but not essential.
