Experience We're Looking For We're looking for someone with previous experience in recruitment, sales or a similar commercially focused role. Ideally, you'll have experience in at least one of the following: Recruitment consultancy (agency or in-house) B2B sales or business development Outbound telesales or cold calling Account management with sales targets Lead generation or new business developmentYou'll also need to be: Confident approaching new businesses and speaking with decision-makers Comfortable making outbound calls and generating new business Motivated by targets and achieving results Proactive, resilient and commercially minded Organised with strong communication skills Able to build and maintain professional relationshipsWhat You'll Be Doing Generating new business through outbound calls and prospecting Building relationships with new and existing clients Developing and managing your own sales pipeline Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates Matching candidates to temporary, contract and permanent vacancies Managing the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement Working towards individual and team targets Maintaining accurate candidate and client records on our CRM systemAbout Optima UK Optima UK is an independently owned recruitment agency based in Leicester, specialising in Manufacturing, Engineering and Professional Services recruitment across the UK.
