About the Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you’ll take responsibility for creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Year 2 lessons
• Following the KS1 National Curriculum
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Assessing and tracking pupil progress
• Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Creating a calm, safe and stimulating classroom environment
• Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour

? What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to hear from teachers who are:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
• Experienced teaching within KS1 / Year 2
• Confident delivering the Primary National Curriculum
• Able to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passionate about helping children learn and develop
• Reliable, organised and adaptable
• A positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively
