Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer Essex | £40,000-£50,000 + Full Door-to-Door Travel | Permanent Company Van | No On-Call Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a role with full paid door-to-door travel and no on-call rota? We’re recruiting an Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer to join an established team of three engineers, covering sites across Essex, Suffolk and London. This is an opportunity to put your servicing and fault-finding skills to work within a small team, with specialist AC equipment supplied and salary flexibility for experienced candidates. What’s on offer? * £45,000 basic salary, with flexibility depending on experience. * Full paid door-to-door travel. * Company van provided. * Specialist equipment supplied, including vacuum pumps and recovery equipment. * Joining an established air conditioning service and maintenance team. The role * Carry out air conditioning servicing and planned preventative maintenance. * Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete repairs. * Identify worn or faulty components and recommend remedial works. * Check system operation and performance following maintenance and repairs. * Complete accurate service reports and relevant maintenance records. * Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues. * Work safely and independently across Essex, Suffolk and London. * Collect equipment from the company’s Essex warehouse when required. What we’re looking for * A strong background in air conditioning servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs, ideally with eight years’ experience or more. * A relevant F-Gas qualification. * Confidence diagnosing faults and completing repairs independently. * A full driving licence. * Ideally based in Essex, with convenient access to the warehouse. * A reliable, practical approach and good customer service skills. * Your own hand tools and drills; specialist AC equipment will be provided.
