These temporary roles will start in November 2026 and will be until July 2027, and the successful candidate may be offered a permanent contract. You will be expected to prepare and deliver lessons on religious beliefs, world religions, moral, philosophical and ethical issues.

• Plan and prepare effective schemes of learning and lessons
• Use innovative and diverse teaching methods that supports the national curriculum
• Use regular assessments to monitor progress and set targets

Required Skills and Qualifications for a Religious Education Teacher

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
• Valid DBS (Can be produced through us)
• Registered with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) (Can be produced through us)

Desirable Skills for a Religious Education Teacher

• Full driving licence and have access to a car
• You live near Cardiff

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
