The Role - Year 5 Primary Teacher

As the Primary Teacher, you will lead a Year 5 class and take responsibility for delivering the curriculum and monitoring pupils' progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and teaching lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
• Delivering engaging English, Maths and foundation subject lessons.
• Adapting teaching to meet different learning needs.
• Setting clear expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Assessing pupil progress and identifying areas for development.
• Encouraging pupils to become confident and independent learners.
• Working alongside teaching assistants and other school staff.

What We're Looking For

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Previous KS2 experience, ideally with Year 5 pupils.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership.
• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• The ability to plan, deliver and assess effective lessons.
• A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
