We are seeking an ambitious, commercially astute and forward-thinking Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in the continued growth and development of this business.

This is much more than a traditional financial control role. Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen the financial operations, drive improvements across our systems and processes, and provide the financial insight and leadership that supports our long-term ambitions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly reporting and annual financial statements.
• Managing the annual and interim audit processes
• Providing strong financial controls for the business
• Driving improvements to financial systems,
• Overseeing accounts payable, receivable, cash flow reporting and month-end procedures.
• Managing fixed assets
• Overseeing VAT, PAYE, corporation tax support and other HMRC reporting requirements.
• Leading, developing and supporting the Finance team, promoting a culture of accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.

About You

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least three years' experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.

You will bring:

• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and analytical skills.
• Proven experience managing audits, financial controls and month-end processes.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience working with financial management systems.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a finance team.
