This is what you'll be doing

• Lead the completion of an ongoing racking project, ensuring its timely and effective delivery.
• Manage and optimise engineering stock across two sites, organising parts and consolidating stores into one location.
• Take responsibility for a £2 million budget, tracking costs and controlling expenditure.
• Act as the OEM point of contact, liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure parts availability and quality.
• Use your systems skills, including Movex, to maintain accurate records and contribute to stock control and reporting.

This is what you'll bring to the team

• Strong knowledge of engineering stores management or demonstrated ability as a buyer/negotiator with relevant financial and systems experience.
• Proficiency with systems like Movex and competence in Excel, with strong numerical skills.
• Experience managing budgets and stock within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• The ability to work independently, with excellent organisational skills to handle multiple priorities.
• An aptitude for problem-solving and delivering practical solutions under pressure.
