Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Health and Social Care looking for your next opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Sefton that requires a committed teacher to cover a maternity leave from Easter 2027 until February 2028.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher with a strong subject knowledge of Health and Social Care to join a supportive secondary school and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

• Teaching Health and Social Care across the relevant secondary key stages.
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
• Preparing students for assessments and supporting their academic progress.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining high standards of behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Health and Social Care at secondary level.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Can plan engaging lessons that meet the needs of learners of different abilities.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS check on the update service (or willingness to undergo one via Tradewind)
