The role

As a School Cleaner, you'll help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, teachers and other school staff.

Your duties may include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Cleaning surfaces and touchpoints
• Following cleaning schedules, health and safety procedures and school policies

What we're looking for

• A reliable and punctual approach
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential

Successful applicants will be required to complete the relevant pre-employment checks for working in a school environment, including an appropriate DBS check where required.
