Traffic Marshal / General Labourer - Waterbeach

Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire Start: ASAP

Duration: Until the end of December 2026

Pay: £19.00 per hour Umbrella / £16.56 per hour PAYE Premium Please note: CIS is not available for this role.

Hays are recruiting for an experienced Traffic Marshal / General Labourer to join a busy commercial construction site in Waterbeach.

This is a long-term opportunity through until the end of December 2026 with possibilities of an extension into the new year. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle and pedestrian movements around the site, helping to maintain a safe and organised working environment.

During quieter periods, you will also be expected to assist with general labouring duties, so we're looking for someone who is happy to get involved and support the wider site team when required.

RequirementsYou must hold one of the following recognised Traffic Marshal qualifications:

• CPCS A73
• NPORS N403 Traffic Marshal
• SATM (CLOCS)
• Trained Operator status
• Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal/Banksman on a construction site
• Comfortable undertaking general labouring duties when required
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
• Available to start ASAP
