Senior Family Solicitor – Senior Associate/Partner

Poole, Dorset | Full-Time | Hybrid Working

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Poole at Senior Associate or Partner level.

This is a genuine leadership and succession opportunity following the planned retirement of a senior Partner. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the established Family team while continuing to handle a high-quality caseload.

The Role:

You will manage a varied private Family caseload, with a particular focus on:

• High-value financial remedy matters
• Complex matrimonial work
• Divorce and separation
• Private family disputes
• Advocacy and representation at court

Alongside your fee-earning responsibilities, you will supervise and mentor a small team of Solicitors and support staff, helping to develop the team and maintain a high level of client service.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the practice through business development, networking and building relationships within the local market.

The role is based in modern offices in central Poole. Due to the leadership and supervisory responsibilities, regular office attendance will be required, although flexible hybrid working is supported.

About You:

• Experienced Family Solicitor at Senior Associate or Partner level
• Strong background in privately funded Family law
• Extensive experience in complex financial remedy and matrimonial matters
• Strong advocacy skills with proven court experience
• Confident managing your own caseload and client relationships
• Experienced in supervising and developing junior lawyers
• Commercially minded with strong business development skills
• Ambitious and keen to play a leading role in the future growth of the team
