Cardiff (Hybrid, 1 day per week in office) | Up to £60,000

The Company

This established financial services organisation is continuing to invest heavily in its lending products and analytics capability. With ambitious growth plans and a strong focus on data-driven decision making, they are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join a specialist pricing team supporting their home loans product.

You will work alongside experienced pricing professionals in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment where new ideas are encouraged and career development is supported.

The Role

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will help drive pricing strategy across a growing lending portfolio, supporting key business decisions through analysis and modelling.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Making pricing recommendations and presenting clear rationale to senior stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining pricing models in Excel and Python
• Querying and analysing live data using SQL
• Supporting the evolution of pricing strategies across lending products
• Contributing to projects focused on risk-based pricing, lending optimisation, and market competitiveness
• Working closely with stakeholders to balance commercial performance and customer outcomes
• Helping the business respond more effectively to changing market conditions

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience within Pricing Analytics
• Experience delivering pricing recommendations and influencing business decisions
• Advanced SQL skills
• Python experience is beneficial
• Experience building, maintaining, or improving analytical models
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience within financial services, lending, banking, mortgages, retail finance, or other pricing-focused industries is advantageous
• Degree educated
