Job title: German Speaking Customer Service Representative

Location: Guildford, Surrey – Hybrid (2 days per week in the office after training)

Salary: £27,000–£32,000 DOE + Discretionary Annual Bonus

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are recruiting for a German Speaking Customer Service Representative to join an established international business based in Guildford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys building relationships, resolving queries and delivering excellent service. You will support customers across the UK and Europe, working within a friendly and collaborative team.

The Role

• Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email in German and English
• Act as a key point of contact for German-speaking and UK customers
• Resolve customer queries, complaints and service-related issues professionally
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Maintain accurate customer records using internal systems
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure queries are resolved efficiently
• Support reporting and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction
• Provide a consistently high standard of customer service

About You

• Fluent German and English are essential
• Previous experience in customer service, customer support or client services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
• Comfortable handling customer enquiries over the phone and via email
• Experience using CRM, ERP or customer management systems
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Experience supporting international customers would be advantageous
• Previous experience with technical product enquiries or B2B/B2C customers would be beneficial
