Head of Finance Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 full-time equivalent, pro rata for contracted hours Hours: 21 hours per week, worked over 3 days, with occasional evening work required for Board meetings Place of work: Liverpool office base with hybrid working (minimum 1 day office-based per week, subject to business needs) To succeed in this role, you will bring experience of charity finance, including charity accounting under SORP, VAT management and compliance, and working with complex funding arrangements and restricted funds. As a trusted adviser to the CEO, Trustees and senior leaders, you will provide clear financial insight, strengthen financial performance, and ensure robust governance across the organisation, our partnerships and any subsidiary entities. Leading a small finance team, you will oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance and controls, while supporting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high performance.
