WORKSHOP CONTROLLER WIMBLEDON | £45,000 BASIC | £54,000 OTE | 1 IN 4 SATURDAY MORNINGS Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting an experienced Workshop Controller to oversee a team of 15 within a busy main dealership workshop in Wimbledon. If you have experience managing workshop productivity, coordinating Technicians and keeping vehicles moving efficiently through the workshop, this could be a good opportunity to take your next step. THE OPPORTUNITY You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of the workshop, reporting directly to the Service Manager. The role offers a £45,000 basic salary with a total OTE of £54,000, alongside the following working pattern and benefits: * Working hours: Monday to Friday, within 8am–6pm * Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings * Team: 15 workshop staff * Annual leave: 33 days, including bank holidays * Pension scheme and life assurance * Employee discounts on servicing, parts and repairs THE ROLE * Oversee the daily running of the workshop, ensuring work is allocated and completed efficiently. * Coordinate and support Technicians to maintain productivity and meet performance targets. * Monitor vehicle progress, manage workflow and address delays. * Work closely with Service Reception to maintain communication and ensure customers are kept informed. * Maintain high standards of workmanship, efficiency and workshop performance. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You'll need: * At least 2 years' experience in a similar Workshop Controller role within a main dealership. * Experience managing workshop workflow, Technician productivity and daily workloads. * A good understanding of dealership workshop operations and performance expectations. * To live within approximately one hour's commuting distance of Wimbledon.
