Hays Birmingham is home to one of our flagship offices and a high-performing Technology team that operates across the wider Midlands market. Based in our modern city-centre location, you'll be joining an established team specialising in Cyber and Information Security recruitment, partnering with organisations ranging from fast-growing technology businesses to large enterprise and public sector clients.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a consultant to join our Technology division in Birmingham, focusing on recruiting Cyber Security professionals into contract and interim opportunities.

You'll be stepping into a high-value market with the opportunity to grow and develop a desk specialising in Cyber Security contract recruitment. You'll partner with organisations requiring specialist expertise across a variety of cyber and information security roles, placing candidates into temporary and contract roles.

As a recruitment consultant you will gain exposure to a range of different activities whilst being supported by a structured training and development programme from day one. Some of your main responsibilities may include:

• Source, interview, and match high-quality Cyber Security professionals to contract opportunities
• Identify and proactively partner with new and existing clients through new outreach and business development calls to build better, profitable outcomes by understanding their hiring needs and challenges
• Manage the recruitment process by guiding candidates and Clients through the full recruitment process from taking a brief to negotiating offers
• Be bold and curious, developing specialist market expertise by actively seeking to understand your customer's market
• Take accountability for meeting targets and delivering your monetary goals that contribute to the growth and profitability of Hays
• Be part of vibrant and inclusive culture that cheers on progress by celebrating personal and team performance
