We are seeking a School Cook to join a welcoming school in Maldon, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

About the Role

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am - 2:00pm
• £14.50 per hour
• Preparing and serving meals from a set menu
• Catering for 100+ covers per service
• Leading by example and supporting a team of 8 catering staff
• Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, health & safety, and food quality
• Potential temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate

Requirements

Previous experience catering for at least 100 covers per service

Strong organisational and teamwork skills

Experience working within a busy kitchen environment

Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations

Ability to support and coordinate a team of 8 staff members
