Chartered Structural Engineer Vickerstock are working with an established engineering consultancy to recruit a Chartered Structural Engineer to join their Coventry office. Why this opportunity? * Technical ownership of structural projects from design through to delivery * A role where your chartered status and experience carry real weight * Join an established consultancy with a professional, supportive team * A strong benefits package, including private medical and a matched pension Your new role as Chartered Structural Engineer Responsibilities will include: * Leading the structural design of projects, including analysis, calculations and design development * Producing, checking and approving calculations, drawings and specifications * Coordinating with architects, other engineering disciplines and the wider design team * Acting as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project * Carrying out site visits and inspections as required * Reviewing the work of other engineers and providing technical guidance * Supporting and mentoring graduate and junior engineers * Contributing to fee proposals and project planning What you will need to succeed * Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering * Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE * Strong experience in structural design within a consultancy environment * Confidence using relevant structural analysis and design software * Good knowledge of relevant design codes and standards * Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships * Experience mentoring or supervising other engineers would be advantageous What's in it for you? * Competitive salary, dependent on experience * Private medical insurance, Life assurance & Income protection * Matched pension contribution * 24 days' annual leave plus bank holidays Not quite the right role?
