Straight-Line Group are currently looking for an experienced Agricultural Fencer to join a project for one of our clients. We are looking for someone with solid, hands-on experience in agricultural fencing, particularly someone who is confident working across a range of fencing systems, from traditional post and rail fencing through to stock fencing. This is a great opportunity for an experienced fencer looking for regular work, with the potential for the position to become permanent for the right person. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of agricultural fencing, including: * Post & rail fencing * Stock fencing * Agricultural boundary fencing * Setting out and positioning fence lines * Installing timber posts and rails * Installing stock fencing and associated fixings * General ground preparation and fencing duties * Working safely and efficiently across agricultural sites The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: * Experienced in agricultural fencing * Confident installing both post & rail and stock fencing * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their work * Comfortable working outdoors and across different terrain * Ideally holds a Telehandler ticket * Experienced using a motorised post rammer * Able to work to a high standard while maintaining good productivity Pay & Opportunity £19.00–£21.00 per hour Immediate / Ongoing Work Potential permanent position for the right candidate If you are an experienced Agricultural Fencer and are looking for a role where your skills could lead to a long-term permanent position, we would be keen to hear from you.
