An opportunity has arisen for an Audit Manager to join the team in Doncaster, taking responsibility for a varied portfolio of audit clients whilst playing an important role in the continued development of the department. This is a position offering a balance of client management, technical audit work and team development within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role would suit an experienced Audit professional who enjoys working closely with clients, supporting colleagues and delivering a high standard of service. Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors and business sizes.
• Planning and overseeing audit assignments from initial preparation through to completion.
• Reviewing audit files and ensuring work is completed in line with relevant standards and deadlines.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, developing relationships and providing practical advice where appropriate.
• Supporting Partners with client matters, commercial opportunities and the ongoing development of the audit department.
• Supervising, mentoring and supporting junior members of the team, helping them develop their technical knowledge and experience.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and deliver an efficient, high-quality service to clients.

Who You Are

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with a strong background in audit.
• Experienced in managing or supervising audit assignments within an accountancy practice.
• Confident in reviewing audit work and dealing with technical matters independently.
• Comfortable managing client relationships and communicating with stakeholders at different levels.
• Able to support and develop colleagues whilst maintaining high standards of work.
• Organised, commercially aware and capable of managing competing priorities.
• Keen to contribute to the continued success of a growing accountancy practice.
