Our client is an international bank based in the City, seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join their growing e team. This role will involve evaluating credit proposals, with a focus on Large corporates and commodity finance, while ensuring that all credit decisions adhere to the bank’s policies and risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed credit evaluation reports, analyzing financial and non-financial risks, and making recommendations to mitigate key risks.
• Review and challenge proposals from the Front Office, presenting independent credit opinions to the Credit Committee.
• Monitor borrower performance, industry trends, and credit exposures, ensuring all covenants are adhered to throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Support senior management with timely risk analysis and suggest appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
• Conduct annual reviews of existing customers and proactive monitoring for early warning signals.

Candidate Requirements:

• Extensive experience in commodity finance or Large Corporates credit review.
• Strong financial analysis, projection, and stress-testing skills.
• Ability to assess and mitigate risks across various industries and sectors.
• Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a proactive and independent mindset.
