Forward Role are partnering with a well-established and people-focused organisation to recruit an HR Administration Team Leader. This is an opportunity for an experienced HR operations professional to lead a team delivering exceptional HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle.

You'll be responsible for leading a team of HR Administrators, driving service excellence, improving processes, and ensuring a first-class experience for employees and stakeholders alike.

The Role

Reporting to the HR Shared Services Manager, you'll lead a team responsible for delivering accurate, compliant and customer-focused HR administration services across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of HR Administrators
• Managing HR service delivery, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved
• Acting as the escalation point for complex HR administration queries
• Overseeing employee lifecycle administration including onboarding, contracts, absence management, employee changes and leavers
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and enhance HR processes
• Monitoring service performance, reporting on key metrics and identifying improvement opportunities
• Maintaining compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and internal policies
• Supporting HR systems enhancements, testing and implementation projects

This role will suit a confident HR operations individual who enjoys developing people, improving processes and delivering an outstanding service.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong HR Administration, HR Operations or HR Shared Services experience
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience within a busy HR function
• Excellent knowledge of the employee lifecycle and HR administration best practice
• Good understanding of UK employment legislation and GDPR requirements
• Experience working with HR systems and employee data management
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• CIPD Level 5 or above (desirable)
