Position: Specialist One-to-One Tutor
Location: Greenwich
Hours: Flexible, up to 40 hours per week

Help Students Build Confidence and Independence

Remedy Tutors is looking for experienced or aspiring SEN tutors to provide one-to-one educational support to children and young people.

You may work with students who have autism, ADHD, dyslexia, social communication needs or difficulties with emotional regulation. You will need to recognise that every student learns differently and adapt your teaching accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised tuition in both Maths and English.

• Break down topics into manageable learning activities.

• Adapt lessons to suit individual abilities and learning styles.

• Encourage engagement and positive learning habits.

• Develop students' confidence and independence.

• Monitor and report on progress.

Essential Skills

• Ability to teach Maths and English.

• Experience with SEN/SEND is desirable.

• Flexible, patient and encouraging teaching style.

• Strong relationship-building skills.
