KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with a successful company in the centre of Newcastle to recruit a Finance Assistant.Your duties will be as follows:

• Reconciling invoices against the ledger to ensure financial accuracy
• Managing enquiries and resolving billing discrepancies efficiently
• Generating monthly invoices and sending to clients to ensure timely billing
• Managing accounts receivable, pursuing outstanding invoices and following up on arrears
• Posting sales invoices to projects and monitor receipts
• Posting and reconciling cash receipts within Sage 200 and maintaining accurate and up to date records.
• Matching invoices to fees and purchase orders and coding and posting invoices to projects
• Adding invoices to the weekly payment run
• Following up invoice approval from team leaders
• Monitoring approval status of contracts on projects and monitoring invoice payment
• Reconciling accounts against statements received, following up on queries.

You will have a strong academic background with proven literacy and numeracy. You will be proficient in IT, included Word, Excel and Outlook.
