THE ROLE

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running and overall performance of a busy service department. You will lead, motivate and develop your team, drive departmental profitability and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the daily operations of the service department.
• Lead, motivate and develop the service team to achieve departmental targets.
• Drive customer satisfaction, retention and overall customer experience.
• Monitor and improve departmental KPIs, productivity and profitability.
• Maximise workshop efficiency and utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, processes and procedures.
• Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally.
• Work closely with the wider dealership management team to achieve business objectives.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Service Manager within a franchised or main dealership.
• Strong knowledge of service department and workshop operations.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• A good understanding of departmental KPIs and commercial performance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to motivate a team and drive performance.
• A professional, proactive and commercially focused approach.
• A genuine passion for the automotive industry.
