HW Finance are partnering with an international business to hire an Accounts Assistant on an initial 3 month contract with a view to going permanent.

The role will provide support to all areas of the transactional finance function, ensuring invoices are paid on time to suppliers, customer cash is posted promptly, and the company’s credit exposure is accurately monitored with the goal of cash flow maximisation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing customer accounts within the Accounts Receivable ledger
• Managing supplier accounts on the Accounts Payable Ledger
• Responsible for collecting payments due and overdue
• Managing customer credit limits
• Following up queries with customers and suppliers
• Liaising with sales and customer services to resolve payment disputes.
• Liaising with supply chain to resolve invoice queries.
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Processing supplier invoices for multiple trading entities
• Posting cash on the accounts receivable ledger.
• Other general duties to assist Finance Department.
• Supporting the Customer Service team in arranging returns and raising credit notes.

We are looking for someone with experience in Credit Control, Accounts Payable or a Finance Assistant role with experience of managing a high volume of accounts.
