School Cleaner in Worksop - Education and Training Academics is a specialist education recruitment agency and we are looking for a School Cleaner in Worksop to join our team supporting a variety of local schools This temporary position offers the opportunity to support local schools by maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises. Position: School Cleaner in Worksop Contract: Temp, Flexible, Ongoing Pay: £14.24 to £15.00 per hour (including holiday pay, paid via PAYE and dependent on experience) Start Date: Immediate Sector: Education and Training The Role: A School Cleaner in Worksop will be responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises Key Responsibilities: Carry out general cleaning duties throughout the school, including classrooms, corridors, offices, communal areas, and other designated spaces. Sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust floors and surfaces as required. Dispose of waste safely and appropriately. Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when necessary. Follow school cleaning procedures, health and safety requirements, and COSHH guidelines. Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to the appropriate member of staff. Use cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.
