They are on the lookout for an experienced and proactive Senior Town Planner to hit the ground running for their team in Farnham Benefits for the role Senior Town Planner include: Highly competitive salary Contributory pension scheme Hybrid working Generous holiday allowance Professional development Personal developmentDuties for the role of Senior Town Planner: Managing a varied portfolio of planning projects across residential, commercial, education, sport and leisure sectors Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals and supporting planning statements Undertaking site appraisals, planning research and policy assessments Developing and advising on planning strategies to maximise development potential Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the planning process Liaising and negotiating with local planning authorities, statutory consultees and other stakeholders Coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams and ensuring projects are delivered effectively Identifying opportunities to support business development and strengthen existing client relationships Providing guidance and support to more junior members of the teamRequirements for the role of Senior Town Planner: A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline MRTPI accreditation, or be working towards chartership Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environment Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and development management Experience managing planning applications and projects from inception through to determination Excellent written and verbal communication skills The confidence to engage with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesIf this role interests you or if you are interested in searching for other roles relating to Town Planning please feel free to contact Ben Moore on (phone number removed) or email (url removed).
